How It Works

1

Open NamHub

The SOS button is always visible in the top navigation. No login required.

2

Tap SOS

The high-contrast emergency module opens instantly.

3

Location Detected

Your location is auto-detected — the correct local numbers populate immediately.

4

Tap to Call

No copying, no dialling manually. Share your location (optional) — send a map pin.

Design Principles

NamHub SOS was deliberately designed to be usable under extreme stress:

  • High-contrast yellow-on-black and red-on-black colour scheme
  • Extra-large tap targets (minimum 64px height) for use under panic or poor visibility
  • No animations or transitions that could delay access to critical information
  • Locally cached — accessible even with poor or no network connectivity
  • No authentication required — works for any person who opens the app

Keeping Contacts Current

Every emergency contact on NamHub is manually verified each quarter. If you find an incorrect or outdated emergency number, please report it to safety@namhub.app — we will update within 24 hours. Accuracy of emergency data is treated as a moral obligation, not a maintenance task.
