List and Host Responsibly
NamHub is built on trust. The accuracy, fairness, and safety of every listing on this platform is what makes it valuable — to the people who rely on it, and to you as a host. As a listing owner, you carry a direct responsibility to uphold that trust.
Your Core Hosting Obligations
Accuracy
List only what you genuinely offer. Photos must represent the actual property, space, or experience — not aspirational versions of it. Pricing must be accurate and inclusive of all mandatory charges. Contact details must be active and reachable.
Transparency
Disclose all house rules before a booking is confirmed. Disclose all shared spaces (bathrooms, kitchens, common areas). Disclose any known defects, seasonal limitations, or building work in progress. For student accommodation: all included and excluded costs must be stated upfront — no surprise fees after move-in.
Safety
Properties must comply with Namibian habitability standards. Electrical and plumbing must be functional and safe. Emergency exits must be accessible and unobstructed. For nightly stays: smoke detectors and working locks are required. For experiences: a safety briefing is mandatory for any physical or outdoor activity.
Fairness
Pricing must apply equally to all eligible guests regardless of their background. No off-platform dealings for leads sourced through NamHub. No discrimination on any protected characteristic.
What NamHub Will Not Accept
- • Listings that are demonstrably false or materially misleading
- • Hosts who accept bookings and then fail to honour them without valid cause
- • Properties that are unfit for habitation by any reasonable standard
- • Operators who use the platform to collect payments and then become unreachable
- • Any listing used as a vehicle for fraud, exploitation, or discrimination
Consequences for Violations
First violation: Warning issued, mandatory listing correction required within 48 hours
Second violation: Listing suspended for 14 days, account flagged
Third violation: Permanent removal from the platform with full account ban
Fraudulent listing: Immediate removal and potential referral to Namibian authorities
